Hotel Berna - Milan

The venue is exceptional and beautifully designed with thoughtful staff. Magnificent location to explore Milan and good service. Besides, excellent for visiting Milano Centrale railway. Great way to end our trip.

Location

Hotel staff was not attentive. When I asked to book taxi to La Skala and at the specified time I went to reception, staff was not paying attention to the time and I had to wait until they pointed out the taxi driver, and thus I took taxi several minutes later. The room was not cleaned good enough - I noticed the carpet was dirty. The equipment in the room was old; no air condition actually worked; the hairdryer was so old that it becomes very hot when it is held for more than 3 minutes - therefore, it was extremely inconvenient to use it. The iron was also old-fashioned and dirty - nobody took care to clean it when it was delivered. The overall impression is very dissapointing.

Hotel was modern and fantastic little, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The guest room we were given had air conditioner and tea/coffee. The hotel was situated in the central location close to many good restaurants in walking distance.

Newly remodelled & great modern unit with a good bed.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to milano centrale. The room was spacious, and i particularly enjoyed the free mini bar. The staff was friendly, and their attention to detail made a big difference. Breakfast was good, catering well to all guests.

Very friendly staff, and very quite room. Excellent breakfast.

The breakfasts were excellent, the location was great - easy walking distance from Central Station and, for the physically able, to the shops and city centre so no need for taxi fares.

The only thing we found missing was the lack of literature for the City Bus Sightseeing Tours.

The location is ideal for accessing Milano Centrale. The staff were friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The breakfast had a fantastic variety. The only downside was some dated decor in the room, but it didn't diminish my overall experience.

Great location near train station, fantastic staff and excellent breakfast. Well appointed rooms with good wifi. It was also very quiet in the room even with the window open. Helpful staff were very good on restaurant recommendations which worked out well.

The location was excellent, the complimentary mini bar and business-like and keen staff - feeling as were members of a team.

The lift is a little small.
